Out of the box, it might not look so great, but that’s why you fluff it! However, remember, you get what you pay for. If you’re after a tree that looks super realistic, this might not be the one for you. But trust me, once you fluff it up and add some decorations, it’ll look fabulous. And let’s not forget, the lights on this tree are INCANDESCENT! I’ve been struggling to find an incandescent tree that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg.

I wanted a Christmas tree that didn’t look like a plain triangle with no branches or space for ornaments. This style of tree looks realistic and airy when you fluff the branches in a fanned “v” shape. The tips of each branch are more realistic, and although the inner branches shed a little, it’s not too bad. The lights are already strung on the tree, but they’re not integrated into the branches. Each of the three sections easily plugs into the previous one. Unfortunately, one bulb on our tree is missing the green shrink-wrap cover, so there are exposed wires. I plan to contact the seller, but for now, I’ll use electrical tape to cover it. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this tree, especially considering the price (just over $100 when I bought it).

I bought a 4.5ft tree, and the assembly instructions should have been more precise. But I figured it out since I consider myself of average intelligence. Section C (the lower base) and Section A (the top) felt awkward when put together. After fluffing, section A looked more complete than I had hoped, but once I hung ornaments, it wasn’t noticeable.
The stand feels sturdy for the 4.5ft tree, but I’d be concerned about using it for taller trees with a different stand. The three screws securely hold the tree pole to the base. The feet have rubber stoppers to prevent sliding on a table. The arms of the tree aren’t flexible; they’re more like a hinge or pin-in-the-hole style arm, like weight machine pins at the gym. This gives me confidence they won’t wear out over time. The lights on the tree are firmly attached, but the short distance between each light pulls the branches, limiting fluffing and placement in some areas. It takes a bit of creativity to decorate. The upper part of section C has fewer lights, resulting in a few bare areas.
However, I can fill in those gaps with additional lights during Christmas. I leave the tree out and decorate it all year round for different holidays and seasons, especially dog themes. Overall, it’s a good purchase that you’ll enjoy. Remember, the 4.5ft tree has a smaller diameter since it’s essentially the middle section(s) of a giant tree. So keep that in mind when considering how much garland you’ll need.

This tree is absolutely stunning for the price. It does require some “fluffing” of the branches, which may take up to an hour or more. Make sure to separate and bend each component of every branch in all directions until all the gaps are filled. Once you complete that, you’ll have an exquisite tree. What sets it apart is the variety of tips it offers: 1) there are cheaper, more artificial-looking branches that can be strategically positioned to fill in gaps without compromising the overall appearance; 2) the silver fir-like tips (although I wish there were more of them); and 3) the Carolina Pine with bushier branches. The different colors and textures of the branches add a lovely touch, and the pine cones give it a cozy feel. Overall, we’re extremely pleased with this purchase!
